The Story Behind the Highland Hearth Collection

When I imagine Wildwood Valley in winter, I see smoke curling from cabin chimneys, plaid blankets draped over rocking chairs, and the sound of laughter echoing through the trees. That image became the heart of the Highland Hearth Collection — a cozy line of plaid pajama pants, soft long-sleeve shirts, and warm blankets meant to bring the same fireside feeling into your home.

The design was inspired by evenings spent in my own Oklahoma home, where the sound of rain or crackling fire has a way of slowing the world down. I wanted to capture that warmth — the same kind of comfort that runs through the Forrester family’s story in Once Upon a Territory.

Woven in deep red, navy blue, and black, the Highland Hearth pattern captures the glow of firelight against the soft twilight of the mountains — a touch of Wildwood Valley warmth for every home.

Every new product I create begins as part of a story. And whether you wear it, burn it, sip it, or gift it — I hope it reminds you that even in a busy world, there’s always a place called home.
