Savoring the Last Days of Summer & Welcoming Fall

There’s something special about these last few weeks of summer.

The days are still warm, the evenings are still long, and there’s plenty of summer left to enjoy—but every now and then, you can almost feel fall waiting just around the corner.

Here at Green Country Gifts, we’ve been busy behind the scenes getting ready for the changing season, and I thought this was the perfect time to slow down for a minute, catch up, and share a little of what’s coming.

One More Helping of Summer ☀️

Before we rush into pumpkins and falling leaves, I want to enjoy what’s left of summer.

These are the days for cold drinks on the porch, weekend adventures, backyard cookouts, road trips, camping, and squeezing in just a little more sunshine before the seasons change.

That feeling has inspired some of the changes happening at Green Country Gifts, too. I’ve been reorganizing the shop and making it easier to find things for the moments we actually enjoy—whether that’s heading outdoors, relaxing at home, finding a favorite mug or tumbler, or picking out something just because it makes you smile.

But Fall Is Calling… 🍁

I have to admit, though—I’m ready for fall.

There’s just something about that first cool morning after a long Oklahoma summer. Opening the windows. Pulling out a favorite sweatshirt. Football season. Warm drinks. Candles glowing in the evening. Trees beginning to turn those beautiful shades of gold, rust, and red.

And, of course, decorating the house for a new season.

The Fall Collection is beginning to make its way into the shop, with cozy home décor, seasonal designs, apparel, and little touches that can bring that autumn feeling into your home.

I’ve especially been having fun creating pieces inspired by forests, woodland animals, changing leaves, and the cozy, slightly nostalgic feeling I always associate with fall.

A Few Changes Around the Shop 🌿

If you’ve visited Green Country Gifts recently, you may notice things look a little different.

I’ve been doing quite a bit of rearranging—organizing collections, refreshing the look of the store, and making room for new products and ideas.

You’ll find areas for Home Décor, Camping & Outdoors, Mugs, Tumblers, Fall favorites, and more.

And there are more changes still to come.

One thing I’m especially excited about is bringing coffee back to Green Country Gifts. I’m working on something new for our coffee and tea collection, and I can’t wait to share more when everything is ready.

Inspired by Wildwood 🌲

You may also begin seeing more products with a little touch of Wildwood Valley in them.

As an author and an artist, the worlds I write about have a way of finding themselves in the things I create. Misty forests, woodland creatures, old-fashioned cottages, mountains, wildflowers, autumn paths and quiet places that feel as though they have a story to tell—all of those things inspire me.

Some of my newest home décor designs have grown from that inspiration, and I’m excited to continue bringing more of that storybook feeling into Green Country Gifts.

Here’s to the Season Ahead

Summer isn’t quite over yet, so I’m not wishing it away.

There are still sunsets to watch, cold drinks to enjoy, places to explore, and warm evenings worth lingering over.

But when that first cool breeze finally arrives and the leaves begin to change, Green Country Gifts will be ready to welcome fall right along with you.
